Privacy Policy

Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and the data you choose to save: favorite sports and teams, your home city, travel-style preference, trip alerts, and saved trips. Authentication and storage are provided by Supabase.

Location. If you grant browser location permission during setup, we use your coordinates once to suggest your nearest metro area and store only that city. You can always enter a city manually or skip this entirely — we never track your location in the background.

Outbound click data. When you click a partner link (for example “View Deal” on a ticket site), the click passes through our redirect service and we log the partner, category, the game it related to, an estimated price, the time, and — if you’re signed in — your account id; otherwise a random visitor id. We use this to understand which comparisons are useful and to receive affiliate commissions.

Usage data. Our hosting provider (Vercel) collects standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to operate and secure the service.

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t process payments or store payment details — purchases happen entirely on partner sites under their terms and privacy policies. We don’t show third-party advertising or use cross-site advertising trackers.

We use cookies that are necessary for the service to work: a session cookie when you sign in, a preferences cookie when account storage is unavailable, and a random visitor id used to count outbound partner clicks. We don’t use advertising cookies.

Some outbound links are affiliate links — if you book through them, the partner may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Once you leave SportTrip, the partner’s own privacy policy applies. See our Terms of Service for the full disclosure.

We share data only with the service providers that run SportTrip — Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting) — and with affiliate networks to the extent needed to attribute a booking to a click (typically an anonymous click reference, never your email). Game schedules come from publicly available sports data (ESPN); no personal data is sent there.

You can edit or remove your favorite teams, location, and preferences anytime from your profile. To delete your account and its data, email us and we’ll remove it. You can use most of SportTrip without an account at all.

SportTrip is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
